Osama bin-Laden

Last night the president announced that Osama bin-Laden, the leader of Al-Qaeda and mastermind behind the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001, was killed. He was not hiding in a cave, or up in the mountains. He was resting in a mansion just outside of the capital of Pakistan.
I remember when the attacks happened. I was serving my mission in Denver Colorado. That morning we heard that someone had flown a plane into a building in New York. We all thought it was a minor incident–just an accident. As the day went through we quickly realized that something was very wrong. House after house we were greeted by people in tears. Finally one lady let us in to see the news. I was numb with disbelief as I saw the second plane hit. I was in shock as I saw the towers fall. Later, I felt anger at those who perpetrated such an act of hate and wanted some sort of retribution. Finally, nearly ten years later, justice has been served. God bless America!
